X23 has been hired to work on BumbleBee's online version of the popular book and CD-ROM, What Color is Your Parachute?, the definitive job-hunter's resource. The printed version of Parachute has sold over 6 million copies since its initial 1973 publication. The CD-ROM and internet versions provide the best-selling career discovery and development method in an electronic format, using a mix of multimedia content, interactive exercises and links to Internet resources.

DatabyAcxiom (formerly Pro CD) is responsible for the development and sales of Acxiom Corporation's Telephone Data Solutions. Acxiom provides a comprehensive range of information services and products that allow businesses to make informed marketing and merchandising decisions.
Description
Quicksearch/PopPhone To automate and enhance a large call center, X23 created two small, technologically advanced products: Quicksearch, a real-time directory assistance application, and PopPhone, which displays the name and address of incoming callers on-screen instantly, before the representative answers the call.	Network Developer Tools The corporate sales division needed products for the corporate and internet/intranet markets. X23 created a line of client/server products to work with their proprietary database. These products include a core data server and sample clients to connect to the server.
Internet Directory The challenge was to create a standalone retail product containing data about internet domain names (such as the name, address, and phone number of companies that domain names are registered to). X23 gathered, formatted, and augmented the data from the internet to put into a retail product called Internet Directory.	Select Link X23 was commissioned to design, create, and implement a public website called SelectLink which works with an existing CD-ROM product to provide real-time Electronic Directory Assistance. Key technologies: E-commerce, database integration, wide-area networking, and account maintenance services.
Results
Quicksearch/PopPhone By eliminating inaccurate and time-consuming data entry, call times were reduced and efficiency increased. Call center costs went down, and there were fewer mistakes attributable to transposed or inaccurate numbers.	Network Developer Tools This suite of products increased the sales revenue from this division from $400,000/year to $4 million/year.
Internet Directory Internet Directory sold more than 500,000 retail units in its first year. The data from this product was also separately licensed and sold.	Select Link X23 enabled ProCD to expand its product offerings into the internet space, increasing the value of the company as a whole. ProCD was later sold to Acxiom.

Description
